Changing It Up!

Hello All! I am thinking about changing up my page a little bit! I am REALLY into getting great deals, saving money and reviewing things. I am also starting a project that I have seen others do regarding money saving! Let me know in the comments if you have any guesses! I am going to post about it when I am finished.

I am also thinking about starting up a YouTube! I love writing everything on here but I think YouTube may bring in some more great opportunities.

Dollar Scent Club October 2016

Hello Everyone!

    Today I am going to let you all know about the Dollar Scent Club.

The Dollar Scent Club is a monthly subscription for air fresheners for your car! They have 5 different smells and the ones i got were Nu Car and Mr. Fresh.

This is the Nu Car scent.

The Nu Car scent literally smells like a new car! Which, is one of my favorite smells, next to fresh laundry! 

This is the Mr. Fresh scent.

The Mr. Fresh scent makes me think of the smell when you walk into one of the Abercrombie stores. It smells like cologne. 

The smell on these is very strong! I was suspect at first when I ordered because most air fresheners are very weak and smell good for about a day. These are so awesome! I put the Mr. Fresh air freshener in my husbands man-cave in the basement and so far over the course of the past 5 days it still smells great down there!

I would say these are a MUST for Uber drivers, people who smoke in their cars or people who work in the food industry! I used to work at a movie theater and my husbands car smelled like popcorn every day!  

For 2 air freshners a month it is $4, 3 for $5 and 5 for $7.

Dog's Best Trend October 2016

Hello All!

For me, this is ideal for my white golden retriever Jake. I am not a huge fan of dressing up your pets. I think its cute for Halloween but I don't think it is necessary to do all of the time. I think having my pup wear a stylish bandanna and switching it up monthly is perfect!

I think Jake looks really cute and he really doesn't mind it being on him which is a HUGE plus. The material is silky which is nice, but I think i would prefer a different material, one that i feel safe throwing into the washing machine if he rolls in the mud.

My Christmas Crate September 2016

Hi everyone!
It feels so good to be back reviewing subscription boxes and I am SO excited that my first one is My Christmas Crate!

(These are the contests of this awesome box!)

This box cost me 33.91$ a month which is not bad for a great Christmas surprise every month!

Lets get started and see whats inside! 

First is the "I Still Believe" cotton tote bag.

This bag is durable and ADORABLE!  How can i resist this? I honestly want to have my kids use it for their trick or treat bag! There are so many things you can use this for though. You could use it for groceries, or what i think i may do, use it to put some of Santa's gifts in it for my kids on Christmas.

Next up is the Candy Cane Bliss Body Scrub by Blissfulicious

This is my favorite thing in the box! Some people got a different variation but mine is Candy Cane Bliss. It is not overwhelming with peppermint, which is what I thought it would be. It has the perfect balance of peppermint and sugar and it is pretty much what you would expect a candy cane to smell like! You can use this for your whole body and it really makes your skin feel soft!

I couldn't find this particular scrub on their site but they have TONS of other ones to choose from and they retail around $18.95

Next we have the Eggnog Drink by Aspen Mulling

Eggnog is a classic Christmas time drink and so I thought that this was the perfect little addition to the box! Unfortunately, I do not like Eggnog but that doesn't mean this wouldn't be a great stocking stuffer for someone that does!

Next up we have a wooden plaque by Primitives by Kathy

This is SO CUTE! I will be hanging this on my door once December hits! (maybe even the day after Thanksgiving!) The glitter shines in the light and this is just all around cute! (my second favorite from this box!)

The last thing in the box is Naughty & Nice napkins by Fine Impressions

 These have the cutest gold embellished Nice & Naughty on them!

I have people over every year for Christmas and these are going to make the cutest napkins for everyone! I can't wait! 

I'm not sure of the retail value of these.

I'M BACK!

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to give all of my readers an update because I have been gone for quite a while now. A few things have happened that have prevented me from blogging as much as I used to. First, the subscription boxes became a lot of money for a stay at home mom on one income! I was reviewing a ton of boxes, and paying out of pocket for 90% of them which was A LOT. Second, I started school again and everything got a little bit hectic and I had to put my priorities first and that meant getting a grip on school.

BUT!! i am back and so ready to review some boxes for you all! I wont be doing as much as i used to, at least not right now. But, I should have something at least once a week.

Hey Tom September 2015 review

 Hi everybody sorry it's been so long since I've posted. I've been super busy with school and kind of lost track of everything but I'm going to start posting some more. I'm starting back up with a box I just got called HeyTom.

 

HeyTom is a monthly subscription box for women. It includes tampons or pads and a surprise! I absolutely love this box because  you don't ever have to worry about running out of tampons or pads. You get to choose when they are delivered to you so you can get them the day you are about to start. 

This is so convienent because there doesn't have to be any urgent runs to your local convenient store to spend a fortune on products. Buying tampons in the store will soon be a thing of the past and you will just get them delivered straight to you in a discreet little box.

Encourage play June 2015

 Hi everyone! Sorry it has been a while since I have blogged,  I have been extremely busy with school. I am excited to review my encourage play box for June 2015.  The theme for this month was working together. I was really excited about this team because that is something I am working on with my daughter.  

Inside the box we had some colored popsicle sticks with little tiny cups on them, pom-pom, bungee rope, tape, Little straws, balloons, Dixie cups, and mad Libs . 

The first activity we did was the catapult activity. In this activity we made a Campell out of the little red cup and the popsicle sticks. We built a tower out of the little Dixie cups The first activity we did was the catapult activity.

We really enjoyed doing this activity together.

The next one was the balloon activity. In this activity you get to use the bungee cord, straw, balloon and tape. You tape the balloon to the straw and put the straw on the bungee cord. You blow up the balloon and see how far it can go down the cord!

Don't mind the mess, it was a busy day. Any ways we had a great time doing this one and she wanted to do it over and over and over! 

The family activity was the Mad Libs. We all love Mad Libs. I didn't get a picture of it but it was really fun doing this one too!
