PINCHme May 2015 Samples

Hey everyone! I got my PINCHme box for May. PINCHme send you samples each month and all you have to do is review them on their website. The samples go so quick so sometimes you might only get one.  This is not a subscription box and is free for everybody!

These are the ones i managed to get:
I would say i did pretty well. I got lots of coupons which is nice!

These are really cool. Each little tab is equivalent to 1/2 a packet of Splenda. It works in both hot and cold drinks. I like this because i can keep it in my purse! The retail for the full size is around $3.40

The scent of this is cooling white strawberry and mint. I love this! I have actually purchased this before so i knew i would like it! The retail of the full size is $4.47.

I have some Gold Bond lotion but it is not the same as this. I really like this because it has aloe and it soothes the skin. The full size retails at $5.67

I used this on both of my kids in the bath and the packets were just enough for the two of them! I LOVED the smell of wash and the lotion. I had never heard of this brand until i recieved this for sample. They are a little pricey compared to Johnsons&Johnsons. The baby wash and shampoo and the lotion are $7.94 for the full size.

Coupons!
I got 2 coupons for $3 off Method Laundry. Method Laundry Detergent is about $16.49 for 20oz. That is more than i would like to spend but i may give it a try since i have coupons.
I got a $1 off coupon for the Olay body wash which is awesome because i will definatly use that!
I feel like i am always getting these $100 off of $160 Wine purchase vouchers. I never use them. I end up giving them away

That is it for my PINCHme box. If you like free stuff i would highly recommend checking this website out!

Encourage Play May 2015

Hey guys! I am really excited to tell you about this new subscription box i found called Encourage Play. It is a subscription box geared at getting kids to be creative and play!

This month's theme is Flexibility. It comes with a little pamphlet that tells you a little bit about what flexibility means. There are 2 play date activities and one family activity examples to do as well.

This was inside the box
Inside you will find pipe cleaners, a squishy brain, 2 pencils, small white sheets of paper, a bag of beads and some silly putty.

The first activity we did together was make something out of the pipe cleaners and beads.
Together we made a dragonfly! She thought that this was so much fun and loved putting the beads on the pipe cleaners.

Next we drew something on paper and transferred it to the silly putty!
we drew a little cat and put the silly putty on top, pressed down and when we lifted it up our cat was on the putty! My daughter thought it was so fun stretching the cat and making it look silly.  (so my daughter thought it was okay to put the silly putty in her hair.. I almost had to cut her hair because it was so bad! Silly toddlers!)

The family project was taking the brain outside, gathering items (rocks, flowers, leaves, etc) and comparing how flexible they were compared to the brain. My daughter is a little bit too young to understand that but we still played with the brain.

As you can tell this is geared towards being creative and it really brought out the creative side of my daughter. There are so many things everybody could have made with the pipe cleaners and the beads. Each kid is creative in their own way and it's really nice to see that shine when they are having fun.

if you want to sign up (I would recommend it!) click HERE!  I really believe that kids should not be sitting in front of the tv all day and this box makes it so that they are having fun and don't really care to watch tv. It's $25 a month and next month's theme is Working Together. Sign up by June 21st and get yours now!

Splendies May 2015

Hey everybody! I decided to get a subscription to Splendies. They send you 3 pairs of undies each month! What girl wouldn't love that?
I tried putting paper underneath so that you could see the detail of each pair.

This pair is from Pucker Up. Very lacy and so cute! I like the ribbon detail too.\

I made the mistake of tearing off the tags before i did my review and i can't remember the brand of these! They are so cut and lacy like the other ones!

This one is a little different. It is seamless so it wont show through your pants. Cute polka dots and the brand is also Pucker Up!

That was what i got this may for my first splendies box! I am impressed and will keep this subscription!

If you want to sign up it's $13.99 a month but you get your first month for $9.99.You can choose from surprise variety, no thongs or all thongs. Seriously, like i said before, who doesn't like new undies each month? You can never have to many! Check out Splendies and sign up HERE!

Citrus Lane May 2015 + BONUS BOX

Hey everybody! I decided to subscribe to Citrus Lane. When i signed up i also got a bonus box for free! I had heard great things about Citrus Lane so i was eager to sign up.  Lets start off with the first box. They didn't label which was the bonus so i will guess.

I am guessing that this is not the bonus box because it was more geared towards my daughter.

Lets Start off with the Kalinda Baby Trapeze Dress by Tea Collection
Seriously how cute is this dress? I love it. I think it is my favorite thing she got! It is SO soft and 100% cotton. It is very unique and i love the pattern. When she saw the dress she said "pretty dress for me?" So i think she likes it too!

Next we have the Ice Cream Shop sand toys by Hape
This toy is so cute! We don't live by the beach or own a sand box BUT we will for sure be using this. It's so cute. It comes with 3 cones, 3 dishes, a scoop and bucket. The recommended age is 18M+

Next up is the Portions to go from Goodbyn
So first off, the fact that this is purple and my daughter's name is Violet just makes it that much cooler. This is an 8pc. set and perfect for traveling. Honestly this could be used for adults or kids!

Last Up we got 2 Mighty Sticks from Plum Organics
There was 1 Berry Beet and 1 Apple Carrot. My daughter was not to thrilled about the Berry Beet but my son was! I think he'll be the one eating these!

So other than some coupons that's it for the regular box! Now onto the Bonus Box
This one had 3 different things inside. I think it's the bonus box because everything inside is unisex.

First off is the book Counting in the garden by Emily Hruby
I already read this to my kiddos and they loved it. The pictures kept my son occupied and my daughter was counting along. The pages are really smooth too!

Next is the Maracas from Hohner Kids
Yay another toy that makes noise! Just kidding, Violet really loves these! Its fun to watch her dance around and shake the maracas!

Last we have the Skip Hop reusable sandwich & snack bag set
How cute are these? They are little puppy dog bags. One holds a sandwich and the other holds a snack. I didn't have anything like this for my kids so i am glad i do now!

Citrus Lane is a subscription box for kids. You can customize it towards your child (age, boy/girl). I really like this subscription box! A monthly subscription is $29.95 a month but does get cheaper if you buy more months. I HIGHLY recommend this box to anybody with a kid. If you sign up by clicking HERE you get 40% off your box!

Geek Fuel May 2015

Another Geeky Gamer box to review! This time it is Geek Fuel.
I saw previous boxes from Geek Fuel so i was excited for this month!

First off we have the Geek Fuel coozie
At first i didn't know what this was. Then i looked at the info card and saw it was a coozie. I don't use coozies so i gave it to my daughter to play with and she loved it.....until my dog chewed it up and now we don't have it anymore. How sad.

Next we have the Square Heroes Downloadable game with Tattoos
This is a downloadable game for the computer. I don't really play games on my computer but it's cool to have this! It's a $10 value. I am going to gift this. Unless somebody wants it just leave a comment below and i will let you know if i still have it.  I am just going to give the tattoos to my daughter.

Next up is The Force Poster by Teribbly Odd
I love this. The fact that Star Wars is coming soon too is perfect. I don't really have room in my small apartment for this but I know who would love this so i may gift.

Next we have the Plants Vs. Zombies Enamel Pins
I was surprised that we all go so many. We got 4 pins.
I didn't get any rare ones. I had mentioned this in the Loot Crate review but i don't collect pins so i think these will be gifted. They are really nice quality though!

Next up is the t-shirt for this month which was the Weeping Angels shirt
Like i said before, i don't know much about Dr. Who but i think this shirt is kind of cool looking. On the back there is "tour dates". It reminds me of my old concert shirts i used to buy! I know somebody who would love this and will be receiving as a gift!

Next is the Secret Wars Issue #1 Marvel Comics
How awesome is this? I am not planning on taking it out of the package. It came with a certificate of authenticity and there are only 15,000 copies of this. I am hoping i can keep in in excellent condition and sell it when it becomes valuable! I think right now it's already worth $30.

I got a bonus item for signing up. It is a Nihintown Poster.
It's a long banner type poster and i couldn't get the whole thing in a picture! I am gifting this as well. I have no place for it and don't really know much of whats on it. Except i did see the reported from Family Guy on there. This poster has a $20 value.

So that was my Geek Fuel for May. I was not too impressed to be honest. I did love the comic but everything else is going to be gifted. I am going to give them another shot and we will see how they do in June.

Geek Fuel is $23.90 monthly but does get cheaper if you buy more months. Each month you will get a Mystery Box with lots of Geeky Goodies. If you are a geek or gamer or just love subscription boxes like me you should take a look!

Loot Crate May 2015

I was so excited to get my first geeky/gamer box because Jeremy is a nerd at heart and i thought he should have some fun while i do reviews! So, i subscribed to Loot Crate. The theme for this month was Unite.
I was excited because i thought there would be a lot of Marvel stuff since the Avengers just came out. Also, i need to apologize ahead of time because i could not get good pictures without flash which caused some pictures to glare.

Lets get started and talk about the shirt in this box

This month there was a Power Rangers shirt!
Jeremy was so excited about this (he is actually wearing it right now!) I learned a fun fact about the green and white rangers: they were the same guy! So this was a huge YAY for this box. Jeremy's absolute favorite.

Next up we have the Avengers Age of Ultron Car Decal
Okay, so this is cool but we don't really put decals on our car. I will be gifting this because I am sure I can find somebody who would use this. It is cool though! It is white so it would look best on a colored vehicle (obviously not a white one!)

Next we have Team Fortress 2 collector's set (4 Pins) (and the Loot Crate button)
I had no idea what Team Fortress 2 was but Jeremy knew. He thought it was alright but we don't collect buttons so this was kind of a bust for us. They will be gifted. I do like the Loot Crate button though! Iron Man and Deadpool (i think it's either Deadpool or Ant Man) I will keep that one.

Next up is The Bravest Warriors Comic Book
The quality of this picture sucks but it's all i could get. Anyways this is a Loot Crate exclusive comic book. Tales from the Holo John #1 (Boom! Studios) We like comics but mainly Walking Dead or other ones. We will be gifting this as well.

Next up is the Marvel Ice Cube Tray
This was my favorite item out of the box. I saw that some other people didn't like this but i LOVE it. I have been using it for my ice but i plan on making chocolates with it!
How cute it that Captain America shield in my tea!? I seriously love it.

Next we have Unite the Stupid a special Loot Crate Edition of MAD
I never read MAD magazine but I know some people who do so they will be getting this. There is also a paper on the back that tells you how to download an issue of MAD onto your iPad.

Almost done! We have the Marvel Shoelaces
I actually already gifted these. I got the colored ones. Some people got the black and white version. The art on the shoelaces was kind of hard to make out what it was. I could really only tell where Spiderman was and maybe some bits of other people.

Last up we have the Rick and Morty 300 piece puzzle
This puzzle was an exclusive for Loot Crate. I don't know weather we will be gifting this or if i am just going to do the puzzle one day when i am bored. We will have to wait and see. The puzzle is 300 pieces which means they are tiny pieces because the box was not big.

That is it for May's Unite themed Loot Crate. Honestly I was pretty impressed with this box. I was kind of hoping for more things i would want to keep but that's okay because I can gift the other stuff. I am keeping my subscription and we will see how they do in June!
Loot Crate is $19.95 a month and you can save $3 on your first box with the code SAVE 3 The subscriptions do get cheaper if you sign up for multiple months so if you think you will love this then it's best to sign up for a longer term!

Secret Snacks May 2015

Hey guys! I was lucky enough to get a box to review from Secret Snacks.
I seriously got so much stuff. I am so impressed with this box!
So i am not going to review each and every snack because most of these snacks people know. I will however show you what snack i got.

Grandma's Peanut Butter cookies and Mrs. Freshleys Cupcakes. (which both Jeremy gobbled up right away when he got home from work)

I felt like it was Halloween when i saw some of the stuff in here! Snack size M&M's, 3 flavored Tootise Rolls, Fruit by the Foot, Twizzler, Dum-Dum, Smarties, Starburst, Mickey Mouse fruit snacks and a green sucker.

Queso cheese Ruffles and Boulder Canyon Olive Oil kettle cooked chips. (YUM)

Grandma's Mini Sandwich Cremes, Nature Valley crunchy granola bar, KitKat bunny ears (left over from Easter?), Rice Krispies Treat, and a PayDay (MY FAVORITE!)
Sour Jacks Watermelon, Mr. Nature roasted almonds, Planters salted peanuts and Air Heads bites

This was a great review box! I was so impressed with everything I got. I feel like i don't have to buy snacks for awhile! Over all i really enjoyed everything. I know i like pretty much all of the snacks and what i won't eat, Jeremy will.

Secret Snacks is a monthly snack subscription box. If you love snacking i would consider this box! For a month to month subscription it is $29 and you get 14-20 snacks. If you sign up for multiple months the cost is cheaper. 3 months is $26/month, 6 months is $24/month and 12 months is $22/month.

Nature Box May 2015

Hey everybody! I decided to get a sample pack from Nature Box to see what they were about.

I only had to pay shipping on this free-trial.
I got 8 different snacks to try out. There were other options where i could get fewer snack choices but bigger bags of each but i wanted to try out a bunch of different stuff.

First up is the Masa Crisps
There are corn chips with flax seeds. I really enjoyed these. They tasted exactly like it sounds it would. You get the strong corn chip flavor with a hind of flax seed. YUM for the 1oz bag that i got there was 140 calories.

Next we have the Cranberry Medley
This had pomegranate and acai flavored dried cranberries with blueberries. I liked this too. Very sweet though. I liked the combo of flavors there were too. For the 1oz. bag i got there was 100 calories!

Next we have the Jalapeno Cashews
I love spicy and i love jalapeno flavored things so i was excited to try these. But, I was not a fan. They weren't very spicy and the jalapeno flavor was very subtle. It tasted more like cashews than anything which was fine with me because i like cashews but i was disappointed there wasn't more of a spicy flavor. For the 1 oz. bag i got there was 160 calories.

Up next we have the Garden Tomato Crunchies
These were tomato flavored almonds. These were okay. I am not a big fan of tomato flavored anything. These were still god because i like almonds and like the jalapeno cashews the flavor was subtle. In the 1 oz. bag i got there was 160 calories.

Next is the Sweet Blueberry Almonds
These were just berry flavored almonds. I liked these a lot. I liked the sweet flavor mixed with the salty almonds. It was a good combo of blueberry flavor and almonds. In the 1 oz. bag i got there was 160 calories.

Next up is the Sea Salt Sun Crunch
I was not a big fan of these. They were sunflower and sesame seeded crackers. The flavor of the seeds was all i could taste, mainly the sunflower seeds. Not a fan. In the 1 oz. bag that i got there was 140 calories.

Next we have the Parmesan Garlic Pop Pops
These were by far my favorite. These were parmesan garlic popcorn kernals. I LOVE popcorn and the parm. garlic flavor just made it that much better. I would buy i full sized bag of these. In the 1 oz. bag i got there was 150 calories.

Last we have the Lemon Tea Biscuits
I did not like these at all. It said they were lemon mini cookies. I did not like them. I felt like there was no lemon flavor. My daughter didn't even like these and she loved the lemon cookies i got in a previous box. In this 1 oz. bag there is 140 calories.

Nature box has a bunch of healthy snacks. All are under 200 calories per 30g of serving. They have something for everybody and you should consider even trying out the free box because you might find something you love. After you get that free box it does roll over into a monthly subscription so if you don't like it make sure to cancel! If you do like it, it is 19.95 a month and you get 5 full bags of snacks! (like big bags!)
