Do you know what Pinchme.com is? Essentially it is a website where you can claim Freebies once a month. They call it Sample Tuesday and the next one is Feb. 14th! Changing It Up!

Hello All! I am thinking about changing up my page a little bit! I am REALLY into getting great deals, saving money and reviewing things. I am also starting a project that I have seen others do regarding money saving! Dollar Scent Club October 2016

Hello Everyone!

    Today I am going to let you all know about the Dollar Scent Club.

The Dollar Scent Club is a monthly subscription for air fresheners for your car! They have 5 different smells and the ones i got were Nu Car and Mr. Fresh.

This is the Nu Car scent.

The Nu Car scent literally smells like a new car! Which, is one of my favorite smells, next to fresh laundry! 

This is the Mr. Fresh scent.

The Mr. Fresh scent makes me think of the smell when you walk into one of the Abercrombie stores. It smells like cologne. 

The smell on these is very strong! I was suspect at first when I ordered because most air fresheners are very weak and smell good for about a day. These are so awesome! I put the Mr. Fresh air freshener in my husbands man-cave in the basement and so far over the course of the past 5 days it still smells great down there!

I would say these are a MUST for Uber drivers, people who smoke in their cars or people who work in the food industry! I used to work at a movie theater and my husbands car smelled like popcorn every day!

Dog's Best Trend October 2016

Hello All!

For me, this is ideal for my white golden retriever Jake. I am not a huge fan of dressing up your pets. I think its cute for Halloween but I don't think it is necessary to do all of the time. I think having my pup wear a stylish bandanna and switching it up monthly is perfect!

I think Jake looks really cute and he really doesn't mind it being on him which is a HUGE plus. The material is silky which is nice, but I think i would prefer a different material, one that i feel safe throwing into the washing machine if he rolls in the mud.

My Christmas Crate September 2016

Hi everyone!
It feels so good to be back reviewing subscription boxes and I am SO excited that my first one is My Christmas Crate!

(These are the contests of this awesome box!)

This box cost me 33.91$ a month which is not bad for a great Christmas surprise every month!

Lets get started and see whats inside! 

First is the "I Still Believe" cotton tote bag.

This bag is durable and ADORABLE!  How can i resist this? I honestly want to have my kids use it for their trick or treat bag! There are so many things you can use this for though. You could use it for groceries, or what i think i may do, use it to put some of Santa's gifts in it for my kids on Christmas.

Next up is the Candy Cane Bliss Body Scrub by Blissfulicious

This is my favorite thing in the box! Some people got a different variation but mine is Candy Cane Bliss. It is not overwhelming with peppermint, which is what I thought it would be. It has the perfect balance of peppermint and sugar and it is pretty much what you would expect a candy cane to smell like! You can use this for your whole body and it really makes your skin feel soft!

I couldn't find this particular scrub on their site but they have TONS of other ones to choose from and they retail around $18.95

Next we have the Eggnog Drink by Aspen Mulling

Eggnog is a classic Christmas time drink and so I thought that this was the perfect little addition to the box! Unfortunately, I do not like Eggnog but that doesn't mean this wouldn't be a great stocking stuffer for someone that does!

Next up we have a wooden plaque by Primitives by Kathy

This is SO CUTE! I will be hanging this on my door once December hits! (maybe even the day after Thanksgiving!) The glitter shines in the light and this is just all around cute! (my second favorite from this box!)

The last thing in the box is Naughty & Nice napkins by Fine Impressions

 These have the cutest gold embellished Nice & Naughty on them!

I have people over every year for Christmas and these are going to make the cutest napkins for everyone! I can't wait!

I'M BACK!

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to give all of my readers an update because I have been gone for quite a while now. A few things have happened that have prevented me from blogging as much as I used to. First, the subscription boxes became a lot of money for a stay at home mom on one income! I was reviewing a ton of boxes, and paying out of pocket for 90% of them which was A LOT. Second, I started school again and everything got a little bit hectic and I had to put my priorities first and that meant getting a grip on school.

BUT!! i am back and so ready to review some boxes for you all! I wont be doing as much as i used to, at least not right now. But, I should have something at least once a week.

Hey Tom September 2015 review

 Hi everybody sorry it's been so long since I've posted. I've been super busy with school and kind of lost track of everything but I'm going to start posting some more. I'm starting back up with a box I just got called HeyTom.

 

HeyTom is a monthly subscription box for women. It includes tampons or pads and a surprise! I absolutely love this box because  you don't ever have to worry about running out of tampons or pads. You get to choose when they are delivered to you so you can get them the day you are about to start. 

This is so convienent because there doesn't have to be any urgent runs to your local convenient store to spend a fortune on products. Buying tampons in the store will soon be a thing of the past and you will just get them delivered straight to you in a discreet little box.

Encourage play June 2015

 Hi everyone! Sorry it has been a while since I have blogged,  I have been extremely busy with school. I am excited to review my encourage play box for June 2015.  The theme for this month was working together. I was really excited about this team because that is something I am working on with my daughter.  

Inside the box we had some colored popsicle sticks with little tiny cups on them, pom-pom, bungee rope, tape, Little straws, balloons, Dixie cups, and mad Libs . 

The first activity we did was the catapult activity. In this activity we made a Campell out of the little red cup and the popsicle sticks. We built a tower out of the little Dixie cups The first activity we did was the catapult activity.

We really enjoyed doing this activity together.

The next one was the balloon activity. In this activity you get to use the bungee cord, straw, balloon and tape. You tape the balloon to the straw and put the straw on the bungee cord. You blow up the balloon and see how far it can go down the cord!

Don't mind the mess, it was a busy day. Any ways we had a great time doing this one and she wanted to do it over and over and over! 

The family activity was the Mad Libs. We all love Mad Libs. I didn't get a picture of it but it was really fun doing this one too!

Encourage Play is such a great subscription if you have kids because not only is it getting them to use their imagination but you also are teaching them things as well. It's $27 with shipping and it's TOTALLY worth it! Check it out!

Mick's Irish Pantry

Hi everybody! Sorry it's been so long since I have posted, I've been very busy! Anyways lets get back at it with a subscription box called Mick's Irish Pantry.

Micks Irish Pantry is full of yummy Irish things! I received this for review purposes but if you want to subscribe it's $24.95 monthly and the more months you sign up for the more money you save! 

I was not expecting so  many goodies in this box! I was so impressed! So lets get to it!

Lyons' Jaffa Cakes: Orange Sponge Cakes

Can you say YUM? These are so yummy. I thought they would just have an orange flavor but there is actually some sort of orange jelly in the middle. They are really sweet but not too sweet to where you can't eat a bunch! My kids really liked these too!

Bird's Instant Custard

Personally, I am not a big custard person. I do know some recipes that I could make that need custard for and I can not wait to try! I have never had instant custard before but i am excited to try it!

Chip-Shop Batter

Making fried food is so bad for you but its one of my weaknesses especially if it means I can make some yummy fried chicken! This was a hit with everybody! It made the chicken so crispy and had a great flavor to it. It was so easy to make the batter too!

Colman's Mustard

I love mustard! I don't like certain kinds of mustard but regular ol' mustard i do like. This mustard is so yummy! You can put it on anything! I used it on my hamburger and it tasted so great! 

Crawford's Bourbon Creams

These are so good. My favorite thing in this box! They are so chocolaty and yummy! They have the best cream in the middle and I just want more! 

McVitie's Digestives 

At first I wasn't sure what to think about these because of the name. But, who cares!? They taste just like graham crackers. My kids love them and if you are wondering if they really have to do with the digestive system.. no. We still have some of these left and my kids love them for snacks!

There you have it! Micks Irish Pantry is full of yummy goodness! I highly recommend this to any foodie or anybody looking to try new things! It's affordable and I can't wait to get my next box!!!

Geek Fuel June 2015

Hey everybody! I got my Geek Fuel box for June! I was so excited I almost forgot that I was getting it so soon! Geek Fuel is a monthly subscription box that sends a mystery box of geeky, gamer, nerd stuff to you each month and its AWESOME. This box did not disappoint!

Jurassic Park and The Lost World the complete collection

Seriously how awesome is this?! I saw Jurassic World 2 times opening weekend and then they send me the books?! Yes please. Couldn't have been more perfect timing, Well done Geek Fuel. These are both chapter books by Michael Crichton. The both have a $10 retail value each. I can't wait to read these. 

The X-files exclusive shirt The Truth Is Out There

At first I had no idea what this shirt was from. The info card then varified that it was from X files. It is Da Vinci's Vitruvian Man. I am going to gift this because Jeremy doesn't really like this shirt.The alien is kind of cool looking though!

Finish It!! Book Mark

This is the vertical side of this book mark. Its from Mortal Kombat. I am going to use this while I read the Jurassic Series books!! You will see the horizontal side in just a second!

Power Rangers Magnet, The other side of the book mark and the Geek Fuel Guide.

As you can see there is the other side of the bookmark! I love the power rangers magnet. I love magnets so hooray!! And the Geek Fuel Guide is so nice. I like how they put it together like a little magazine. Its fun to read. 

90's Muntant Hero OOze (exclusive!)

Yuck! ooze. How fun! I haven't played with this stuff in so long. My daughter thinks this stuff is so hilarious. I won't let her play with it too long or it ends up in her hair but this is a fun little exclusive item. I thought it was funny how this was in the box and the director from new Ghostbusters film just showed a picture of slim.. hinting for the next movie!

Super Win The Game (game code) and Key chain!

I mentioned before that I don't really play the downloadable games but I know somebody who would love this and I'll gift it to him on his birthday. The key chain is a little key! How cute. The game looks fun. It's a $10 value. I wish that they would give downloadable games for consoles instead of computers or have the option for console vs. computer because we would play the console ones!

Citrus Lane June 2015

Hey everyone! I am finally posting my review on the June 2015 Citrus Lane box.
Citrus Lane is $29.99 a month and you get a box of things specially for your child. I like this because you can choose the age of the child and get things like toys that are appropriate for them. The theme was summer/beach.

This is the June box that i got for my 2 year old daughter. She got 4 things. One of the things she actaully picked out to be in the box because you can choose one of the items or let it be a surprise. She picked out the cutting vegetables.

Cutting Food and Knife from Plan Toys

This is the one that she picked out. I like this one because it teaches her how to cut and it helps develop fine motor skills. Each can be cut in half. There is a lemon, a tomato, a zucchini and a mushroom. I think this is my daughters favorite thing from this box. For about 5 food items and the knife its $20 retail. 

Beach House from Chronicle Books

We love to read so getting another book is something we were happy to see. This goes well with the beach theme, The book has really good illustrations and my daughter enjoyed it. The hard cover is $12.71.

Eco-Crayons from Eco-Kids

This is a smaller package than what you would get if you bought these. They are really nice! They don't break easily and they color nicely. These ones are sea shell shaped! The retail for a bag is $11.99.

Yogurt Pouch from Kabrita

My daughter calls these squeezies. She likes some of them but i gave this to my son because he likes them a lot more than she does. 

There you have it for the June 2015 Citrus Lane box. I really like all of the things they send and my kids are always happy. I have yet to get a box for my son yet just because I can't do $60 a month plus all of the other subscriptions that i have but I may pause hers and get him one just to see what he might get.

Love With Food June 2015

Hey everybody! I got my Love with Food June box! This is my second Love with Food box and I am really impressed with this month! The theme for this month is Saturday In The Park.

This is the tasting box. There is a bigger size and a gluten-free box as well. 

My box was packed to the top with yummy snacks and coupons!

Northwest Trail Mix By Emily's

This is so yummy! I love trail mix in general but this trail mix is so good for you which makes it that much better! Inside was cashews, almonds, raisins, cranberries and cinnamon apple dices. I just ate this as a snack and it filled me up until my dinner. I would definitely buy more of this! There was 110 calories in this pouch.

Original Naan Crisps by Stonefire Authentic Flatbreads

These remind me so much of pita chips. They are crunchy and delicious! Dip them in some hummus for some extra flavor. They are flame baked to give them and authentic taste and texture. There was 60 calories in this bag.

Crazy Hot PopChips by PopChips

Let's be honest here and say that these did not last more than 10 minutes in my house! They are SO good. I want a huge bag because they are just that good. They most likely would have been gone faster but they are really spicy so after a few you need a drink. My 2 year old even loved these! (I advise you not to give these to a 2 year old unless they are okay with spicy things though!) I don't know the calorie amount because i ate them and threw the bag away on accident before i wrote this but I know its low!

Everything Bar by Sheffa 

This Everything Savory bar is Gluten free, Vegan, low sodium, non GMO, no nuts, soy or corn! How much healthier could it be?! It was very crunchy like a Nature Valley bar. It had a nutty flavor but i think it was because of the seeds inside. It was okay but not my favorite. The bar has 80 calories.

Choo Choo Cherry Flavored Dried Cranberries By Funny Face

These just reminded me of raisins. They are so good. Dried cranberries are really sweet and a great snack for anybody! The cherry flavor is so yummy and doesn't overpower the cranberry taste too.  1 box is 50 calories which is great! If you want 15% off your purchase you can use the code LoveWithFood15. I recommend it because they are so good!

Brownie Brittle 

Brownie Brittle is just as good as it sounds. They are little square pieces that taste like the edges of the brownies in a brownie pan. I can't get enough of these! They are guilt-free too! They are only 120 calories for the bag! 

Classic Iced Tea Candy by Bali's Best

Yum, Yum, Yum is right! I am a huge fan of sweet tea and these candies taste just like it! They are made with real tea extract! I am going to buy more and enjoy them all summer long!

Kutoa Health bar

I enjoyed this with my morning coffee and it was so yummy! The blueberry almond flavor was perfect. It reminded me most of a healthy granola bar! It is gluten and soy free, vegan and non GMO.
